On May 18, the four-day 4th Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "CICEE 2025") came to an end. This exhibition, with the theme of "High-end, Intelligent, Green - New Generation Construction Machinery, Emergency Equipment, Mining Equipment, Agricultural Machinery, Transportation Equipment", brought together 1,806 exhibitors from around the world (an increase of 304 from the previous session, an increase of 20%), with an exhibition area of 300,000 square meters, attracting more than 350,000 international and domestic professional visitors from more than 110 countries and regions.
Among them, 5,000 international buyers from the countries participating in the "Belt and Road" co-construction, RCEP member countries, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and other regions formed groups to purchase and negotiate; 55 national envoys to China and representatives of the African Union in China, 4 international organizations, 38 international business associations, more than 200 international high-end manufacturing companies, and more than 300 international trade company leaders participated in various activities of the exhibition.
In the future, Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition will continue to leverage its platform advantages, link global resources with an open attitude, promote international exchanges and cooperation, help the Chinese construction machinery industry stand out in the global competition, realize the transformation from "follower" to "runner-up", and provide "Chinese wisdom" and "Chinese solutions" for global infrastructure construction and sustainable development.
The exhibition covers 23 categories and more than 20,000 exhibits, of which more than 1,000 cutting-edge equipment will be unveiled at the exhibition, and 35 of the world's top 50 construction machinery companies will bring cutting-edge equipment to the exhibition. The number of exhibitors of leading foreign brands ranks among the top in the industry exhibition, fully demonstrating the international influence and appeal of the exhibition.
More than 100 activities such as industry conferences, technical exchanges, and business negotiations were held at the same time as the exhibition. More than 2,560 global industry leaders, academicians, experts, and corporate leaders held in-depth dialogues on technical standards and market trends. More than 120 companies participated in the "Five Provinces Construction Machinery Industry Regional Cooperation Conference" to jointly build a technology sharing and market interconnection mechanism.
During the exhibition, more than 100 enterprises in the construction machinery industry chain, including Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion, Shanhe Intelligent, China Railway Construction Heavy Industry, Xingbang Intelligent, and Runtian Zhike, attended the global procurement signing conference for main machine accessories. On-site main machine enterprises and some accessory enterprises signed annual procurement agreements of more than 13 billion yuan.
China-Africa cooperation, China-Russia technology docking, and China-Malaysia signing of the construction machinery standard access agreement became the hottest topics during the exhibition. Purchasing groups from Russia, Southeast Asia, Latin America and other countries reached matching with more than 600 exhibitors at the international forum; many Chinese and foreign companies also reached technical cooperation intentions during the exchanges, pressing the "accelerator" for the deep integration of "China's smart manufacturing" and the global industrial chain.
At the exhibition site, the green atmosphere was overwhelming; more than 60% of the heavy machinery exhibits used new energy or low-carbon technology, 75% of the booths were built with recyclable materials, and more than 1/3 of the exhibits were exhibited for the first time in China, covering intelligent unmanned machinery, new energy equipment, emergency rescue equipment and mining equipment, etc., outlining a clear path for the green transformation of the construction machinery industry.
For the first time, the exhibition set up a "New Technology and New Product Release Zone", where 1,500 global first-launch technologies were unveiled, covering cutting-edge fields such as AI, 5G, and digital twins. At the same time, the exhibition added three new sections: emergency rescue, mining equipment, and transportation equipment, filling in the gaps in the emergency equipment and mining fields of the construction machinery exhibition, and promoting the deep integration of construction machinery with safety emergency and mining equipment. This exhibition marks a new stage for China's construction machinery industry to move from "scale expansion" to "quality leadership".
