Ten Thousands of Companies Participate, Global Visitors Embrace Chinese Technology
On October 15, 2025, the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opened in Guangzhou.
As China's longest-running, largest, and most comprehensive international trade event, this year's Canton Fair, themed "Advanced Manufacturing," attracted buyers from over 220 countries and regions both online and offline, once again demonstrating the strong appeal of the Chinese market and the vitality of global trade.
To enhance the exhibitor experience, the Canton Fair has introduced a series of facilitation measures: optimizing visa services and providing a "green channel" for key buyers; establishing a multilingual service center offering one-stop services such as business negotiations and logistics clearance; and introducing measures to facilitate cross-border RMB settlement to reduce business transaction costs. Many overseas buyers expressed that the Canton Fair's service is becoming increasingly attentive, building an efficient and convenient bridge for cooperation for global businesses.
At a time when the global economy faces numerous uncertainties, the Canton Fair's continued success demonstrates China's unwavering commitment to expanding opening up and promoting international trade. According to the organizing committee, this year's Canton Fair will run until November 4th, divided into three phases. Over 30 supporting events will also be held during this period, including the Belt and Road Trade Cooperation Forum and the RCEP Regional Business Opportunities Matchmaking Forum.
