Looking at the data from the first two months, the main driving factors are reflected in the following four aspects:
New industries accumulate new advantages. my country insists on leading industrial innovation with scientific and technological innovation. In the first two months, exports of high-end machine tools, shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment, and aerospace equipment increased by 34.5%, 61.3%, and 17.7% respectively. In the first two months, my country's export growth rate of intermediate products such as flat panel display modules and parts for audio and video equipment exceeded 20%. This has strongly supported relevant countries in creating jobs and developing production, and has also effectively maintained the stability of global industrial and supply chains.
New brands breed new vitality. "Domestic trendy brands" are widely popular overseas. More and more Chinese brands are going abroad and going global with their culture and warmth. In the first two months, my country's exports of self-owned brand products increased by 14.3%, 4 percentage points higher than the overall figure; among them, the exports of mobile phones, furniture, and cosmetics increased by 55.7%, 60.7%, and 37.3% respectively.
New models expand new space. New forms and models of foreign trade are booming. In the first two months, cross-border e-commerce imports and exports increased by nearly 10%, and market procurement exports increased by 15.9%. With the support of the new model, high-quality products at home and abroad can achieve two-way access more conveniently and efficiently, meeting the diverse needs of consumers at home and abroad. For example, lobsters from South Africa can be transported by air in 18 hours, and cherries from Chile can be transported by sea in 22 or 23 days, and can reach the dining tables of Chinese consumers.
New platforms activate new vitality. In the first two months, the import and export of the 22 free trade pilot zones increased by 11.7%. Among them, the import and export growth rate of Guangdong, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Hebei and other pilot free trade zones has exceeded 30%; the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port continues to advance, with import and export growth exceeding 20% in the first two months.
